Based near Stansted, I photograph weddings across Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow and the surrounding villages.
Keeping things local
I specialise in weddings within around 30 minutes of Elsenham.
This means I know many of the local venues, travel costs are kept to a minimum and I'm never rushing across the country between weddings.
It's all part of offering a simple, relaxed and affordable service.

Hi, I'm Louise — the photographer behind Louise Murnane Photography.
I'm a wedding photographer based in Elsenham, near Bishop's Stortford, specialising in relaxed, intimate weddings across Essex and Hertfordshire.
Since 2012, I've been photographing people during some of life's most important moments, always with a natural and unobtrusive approach. My aim is to capture genuine emotions and meaningful moments as they happen, creating timeless photographs you'll look back on for years to come.
I specialise in micro weddings, registry office ceremonies and smaller celebrations, perfect for couples who want beautiful photography without feeling like they're spending their whole day in front of the camera.
I don't believe every wedding needs full-day photography. Many couples simply want the most meaningful parts of their day beautifully captured, allowing them to relax and enjoy the rest of their celebration with family and friends. That's why my collections are designed to focus on the moments that matter most, with the flexibility to add extra coverage if you'd like me to stay a little longer.
My approach is relaxed and friendly. I'll gently guide you when needed, particularly during your couple portraits, but for most of the day I prefer to blend into the background, allowing you to enjoy your wedding while I capture the moments naturally as they unfold.
